The Wiki Traffic Light
2009-10-27 12:38 - 0 KommentarerCan we get more drivers to respect a red light by making it fun to do? By fitting the traffic light system with a screen that displays interesting or fun facts when the light is on red. It’s a simple way to give people something in return for doing the right thing.

Connect Four Beer Crate
2009-10-27 13:43 - 0 KommentarerMillions of bottles of beer are consumed around the world every year. The bottles are often recycled, but what about the metal beer tops? The idea here is to build a game of connect four into the side of the beer crate. The bottle tops can be used as the counters to the game and returned with the empty bottles.

Fun Tram Tickets
2009-11-04 13:57 - 0 KommentarerThis is my idea to use positive reinforcement to encourage people to buy tickets when they travel on public transport. The idea is that through buying a tram ticket and having it stamped onboard, you get the chance to enter an instant win lottery. A pretty fun way to reward people for buying a ticket.

Pinball Exercise Machine
2009-11-11 15:47 - 0 KommentarerHow do we get more people to excercise? The idea here is to combine a standard step machine with a pinball machine. The machine is then operated by moving your feet to control each arm inside the machine. Hit the ball, get points and have fun!

Can we get more people to obey the speed limit by making it fun to do? The idea here is capture on camera the people who keep to the speed limit. They would have their photos taken and registration numbers recorded and entered into a lottery. Winners would recieve cash prizes and be notified by post. Better still, the winnig pot would come from the people who were caught speeding.
Garbage Jukebox
2009-11-27 15:49 - 0 KommentarerCan we keep the streets cleaner by making it fun to do? It’s common in both Portugal and Spain to have street parties on warm weekend nights. The problem though is the rubbish these parties make. The solution here is to make a juke box that isn’t powered by coins, but drinks cans and bottles. By cleaning up you can keep the party going.

One-armed Vending Machine
2009-12-15 17:36 - 0 KommentarerHow do we get more people to recycle drinks cans? We turn a normal vending machine into a gambling machine, where instead of coins we use old cans as credits to play. You crush you can, the wheels spin, and the lucky ones win a fresh can of cold soda.

Scratch Mat
2009-12-15 22:26 - 0 KommentarerMost people enter a building without cleaning their shoes, often resulting in dirt all over the floor. Could this nuisance be removed by making the activity fun to do? We think so.

Gaming safety belt
