Most airports provide an automatic walkway for people to either rest as they head towards their gate or get there a bit quicker when walking. Unfortunately, these too require the use of much electricity by keeping them running all day, every day. As someone who is interested in other languages myself, I believe that there are many people out there who are as well and would take the no-walkway route to hear some phrases in different languages. The international flags would be touch sensitive, so that when a traveler steps on the specific flag, they will be able to hear a phrase ("Have a good trip!") in that country's language. Not only is this educational and FUN but energy efficient as well. I believe less people would use the automated walkways.
